What will you do? 

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a Compiler/Runtime Focus, you’ll be a key player in the evolution of Mevisio’s platform. Your work will blend hands-on development with strategic improvements to our low-code language, runtime environment, and overall infrastructure—ensuring stability, performance, and a seamless developer experience. On a daily basis, you will:

• Develop and enhance our low-code language, refining the compiler and runtime for stability, predictability, and new functionality.
• Advance our Infrastructure as Code strategy, leveraging Terraform and Kubernetes for efficient, scalable AWS deployments.
• Optimize platform performance, improving event-driven and asynchronous processing with AMQP, Redis, and Node.js.
• Enhance system reliability, using observability tools to track performance, address bottlenecks, and improve resilience.
• Maintain core services in our microservice-based architecture, ensuring scalability and best practices with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and AWS.

Desired Technical Skills


Programming Language & Compiler Design: Experience in language design and compiler implementation (parsing, static analysis).
TypeScript & Asynchronous Programming: Strong proficiency in TypeScript, including deep knowledge of async/await and other async patterns.
Frontend: Extensive experience in React and its broader ecosystem.
Service Layer: Solid understanding of Node.js frameworks, event-driven architecture, the Node event loop, memory management, and asynchronous programming principles.
Data/Communication: Familiarity with MongoDB, Redis, and AMQP.
Cloud: Experience and interest in AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
